Blood in Cum

Contributor: kfdarling kfdarling
So I am kind of freaking out here. I used a vibe for the first time today for prostate play. Everything went well. It felt great. Well I decided to masturbate later and it kind of burned a little while I was aroused, after I came there was a pink tinge to the cum. Has anybody ever had this happen to them? I am guessing a little too much on the prostate. Just don't know if it is normal.

My personal suggestion would be to go see a doctor. I can see where it could be blood from around the prostate, but I think you would've also felt discomfort while you were stimulating the prostate as well. I'd also note if urine is any pinker looking (if you can). A doctor would probably ask about that, since that could help determine where to start looking for problems. Would be good to have as much information as possible before you go in for an appointment.

Blood is never a good thing. Please see a doctor.

I would definitely suggest seeing a doctor. My ex and I did a LOT of prostate play and pegging and even when it got really rough (which was his preference), there may have been a bit of bruising in his rectum around his prostate or a slight bit of blood from sensitive rectal tissue that got roughed up a little, but nothing that ever caused blood in his ejaculate or any pain during arousal or ejaculation.

Yes, I agree. I don't want to scare you, and there is no reason to panic, but blood in the semen should be examined by a doctor. Some Internists would be OK for this exam, but a urologist is a better choice.

The most common causes (although not the only causes) of blood in semen are STIs, kidney stones and recent surgery, as in a vasectomy or surgery on the prostate. Regular STI exams and prostate exams should be done at least once a year anyway, so please see your doctor.

Good luck.

Well I looked this up on Web MD and I am not too scared now. I think because I am not use to prostate stimulation that is what caused it. Everything feels and looks fine now. If it continues though I may see a Dr. Thanks everyone!
