How to Ask Him to Shave?

Contributor: sweetpea12 sweetpea12
My boyfriend won't manscape. He keeps promising me that he will, but never does. It's just an aesthetic thing that I prefer. But he really won't do it. What's a nice way that I can get him to shave??

Honestly its his body his choice but you can stop giving oral if that is the main act that you don't like doing because of hair. I haven't had an issue with being with someone who doesn't at least trim.

You can't really force a partner into a thing like that, but you should tell him to just try it once and if he still really dislikes it then you'll drop it (because what else can you do at that point anyway?) When he follows through, try to really reward him. I hope it works out for you.

Maybe you need to find a boyfriend that is interested in pleasing you.

It doesn't make a guy a wimp to accommodate his partner. Sex is literally give-and-take but it sounds like your guy is more of a taker than giver.

Sorry if I have offended you - IMO you're too young to get tied up with someone who you are not compatible with. I didn't meet my wife until I was 33 - we married at 35. You have time to find the right person for you.

Offer to give him a trim and then immediate follow up by giving him treat. Oral!

get a pair of clippers (like for hair on the head/beard) and do about half an inch guard on it (i use 1/4 myself).. clippers are WAY more uniform than scissors and doesn't leave the hair at an angle that pokes and itches!!

My ex put it to me like this when it comes to this topic: If you want me to go down on you, maintain that trimmed down there if not it isn't happening, some guys would get upset about this but it didn't really bother me.

Best answer ever: "Hey Babe, I'd love to suck your cock.. but I'm tired of getting your sack hair stuck in my teeth. Shave it, or buy a Fleshlight from Eden and use code X22 at checkout."

Seriously though: Just say something about it. If you are old enough to see his pubes you are old enough to have an upfront conversation about grooming.

Suggest that you trim/shave each other. That's always a fun way of doing it.

Oh my!!! No one is shaving or trimming me.
I say sit down and have a real convo with him. Is the problem that he just keeps forgetting? Is he scared? Does he think it's not manly? Does your opinion seriously not matter to him?
Don't nag that doesn't help anyone. Either give him time, set him down, or figure out if you really want this relationship
