So i'm worried. After me and my partner played with a new anal toy there was bleeding. I have seen slight bleeding before but this was much more than slight. Has anyone experienced similar experience and if so I'd be interested to know how you handled the situation. What you did to control the bleeding. Thank you now for your posts.

"More than slight" as in more blood than a few streaks on a tissue or bleeding that keeps on for more than 15 minutes is a BIG DEAL - seek medical help soon because you can have a serious infection or blood loss.

If it stops quickly then you've probably done one of two things: either you've abraded the rectal mucosa (use more lube) or torn your sphincter (go slow, use more lube, and be willing to stop when the pain starts). If this has happened you should avoid anal play for a couple of weeks to let things heal.

If it stops quickly ... more
Also remember that rectal tears heal very slowly so definitely follow ScottA's advice and wait to play again.

Hemorrhoids can bleed mightily (meaning, there is a blob on the toilet paper, and some dripping into the toilet or on your underwear) but there is also itching and burning and the bleeding should stop soon. Anal sex can, sometimes aggravate hemorrhoids, especially when you are new to it. Once you are more experienced, the actions have been found to actually reduce hemorrhoidal bleeding.

If the bleeding goes on for more than an hour, or you soak the equivalent of a sanitary napkin in less than an hour, you might want to see a doctor, or even go to the ER, if it goes on for several hours.

I hope you feel better.
