Male Breast Cancer Awareness

Contributor: Errant Venture Errant Venture
October has been (and still is, since we're still in it) Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The site has been running several contests to promote this, including video contests and crafts projects. However, there hasn't been a single thread dedicated to male breast cancer in this particular forum, which I find astonishing.

So, to highlight this, I've done a little video. It's not much (and it's not entered in the competition, so this isn't really self-promotion in that sense), but I felt I had to do something to show that men can get it too; not just women.

So here's my video: link

And here's a link to some information.

I have known 2 men who were diagnosed with breast cancer--both living in the same area of Louisiana where there are (were?) many chemical plants and a higher than average rate of cancers. They were unrelated, both around 55--one had a happy ending and the other not so happy.

We women love our guys!!!
