My husband needs something...

I hate to post this but I am hoping that we can find something on here that can help us because my partner seems to not like discussing this with me, let alone a Doctor!

Ok so we have outstanding sex for the most part. He however tends to ejaculate several times in a day if it is not convenient for us to have sex. So that is why I think there is a problem, however he would disagree with that....shit he would probably not even be comfortable with me posting this, but hey a lady's got to get to the bottom of this issue!

Sometimes, more so than not lately, he cannot keep his cock hard....Ok I said it. Now there is many explanations as to why this could be happening right.?! Well it makes me feel like I am not satisfying him, or he has somehow lost interest in my body, yet he is constantly horny. This makes me think that maybe he is ejaculating too often, or seeing as my body is not as rock hard as the porno girl’s maybe it's me.....

If anyone has any help in this situation I have found at hand, please give me some advice. I am willing to try anything once, and if its pleasing, then hey let’s do it again...however there have been instances where I have dressed up so sexy and played and done everything in my power to drive this man insane sexually, but something with his cock decided that it wanted no part...

What is a girl to do???

There are a bunch of things that can cause this and I'm sure you're not one of them....it can be psychological but usually more on his end and not having to do with his attraction to you at all! There are a lot of medications that can adversely effect a man's ability to get or keep an erection, as can being diabetic. Age can also play a factor, as can the reduction of testosterone levels in a man (that comes as a side effect of some drugs, and also with age). He really should see a doctor, simply to rule out any serious problems, and to be able to fix the problem if it is something like a slight hormone imbalance or a drug side effect.

Using a cock ring can make it easier for him to hold an erection during sex as well, just try not to keep it on for more than about 20 minutes. There are also several pharmaceutical options out there, but he'd have to go to a doctor to get them.

Good luck! Remember, it's not you and some men can really be a pain with this stuff because they think it means they're failing or are less masculine, try and be patient

It sounds to me more of a health issue than anything. Every guy cums! He should find a doctor he is comfortable with and talk to them! Nothing wrong with it. They deal with that kind of stuff all the time!

Thank you and I have been very patient and will continue to be. We also have tried the cock ring, but I really think it is medicall. He is one of those pains about not wanting to speak to a Dr. about it, but he is going to have to do something! Thanks so much for your reply!

Sincerely,
~Christy~

Alan & I went through this back when he was in his late 30s. It turned out to be high blood pressure triggered by a *seriously* stressful work environment. Both can cause a guy's parts to do some crazy things.

The best thing you can do right now (besides encouraging him to goto a doc) is to not make a big deal over it, either to him or yourself. That'll just add to his issues in a roundabout way. These things just happen sometimes as a man gets older and their bodies and health statuses change, the same way you'll experience changes as you age.

Not that I know of. In addition, he probably shouldn't be taking anything until he has seen a doctor, because if it is triggered by a hormone imbalance or a sugar issue, or a b.p. problem as Michele suggested, you don't know what effect any drug or supplement will have on that. If he sees a doctor though, and there is no very serious underlying cause, there are plenty of very successful drugs on the market now that can be prescribed but if it is a case of stress or soemthing lke that, it may be even easier to resolve.

And like Michele said, the more focus you put on these things, the worse they tend to get - even if it is strictly a physical problem, it can start to become psychological in men sometimes which can be harder to fix.

Sorry this thread is old, but the biggest culprit to not getting it up is blood pressure and/or heart issues. You would be surprised how much regular exercise increases a man's sexual prowess!

Is he a health nut? Or does he like steak and potatoes?

My advice is worth what you paid for it...

Any updates?
