Partner, School, or Life

As a male, I often think about how lacking our sexual education can be in some areas. Just watching tv can show a person how inept males are shown to be, and how they "lead with their dicks", though from my experience as an educator this is hardly the case, especially around sex.
One of the interesting things I hand found is that many men are educated about sex, anatomy, and how to please from their partners rather than initially from school/parent/ect...

My question is what was the most valuable learning experience you've had around sex, who taught you that lesson, and how has it changed your sexuality for the better?

Scarleteen was the best educator from a pure education standpoint. For what I enjoy physically, my partner. For learning about my kinks and what I find hot, a lot of fanfic. Little things I never would've realized are major kinks of mine, like writing on skin, I've found there.

There wasn't really a 'best'- I value all of it.

As a general background...Having an actual sex ed class as a teen, my own reading in the area, friends who were sexually active before me, and then my own experience. You learn best through practice and learning about your partner. Now that I have a good partner, I'm learning more about myself everyday.
