Sensitivity during oral sex?

Contributor: Phantom2291 Phantom2291
Hey, I've been wondering something for a while: My girlfriend loves giving me head, but I feel terrible, because I can barely feel when she does anything. I'm unsure if other guys have this problem, or if this might be a nerve problem.

I never had this problem until getting into my late 50s. For me it's related to the frequency of sex. I need a couple of days recovery to regain full 'sensitivity'.

As a younger man - if I masturbated too close to a sexual encounter - sensitivity could be impacted - the situation was easily overcome.

It could just be a natural variation in sensitivity that you have, it could be because you're used to masturbating with a firm "death-grip", or if you're circumcised then that's a known factor in making men less sensitive to light touch on the penis.

If she's really enthusiastic about giving you oral then just teach her ways to make it more pleasurable for you. A good blow job shouldn't be all about the mouth, if she gets her hand involved with really pumping on the shaft while she's sucking on the head then you're going to feel a lot more, and it will be more enjoyable for the both of you.
