Weird thing my husband is doing in his sleep

So my husband, who enjoys anal play on a semi regular basis, I'd say one out of every three times we fool around his ass is involved somehow, is jamming his fingers up his ass in his sleep. This has been going on for a few weeks now, but he was alerted to it when, you know, he'd smell his hands in the morning and be confused as to why they smelled like they'd been in his ass. He woke up one night still doing it, which is also how we know what's going on with him.

Aside from the obvious "increase your anal play" or whatever, does anyone have any idea why he would be doing this? Have you ever known anyone who has done this? Have YOU ever done this? less

Without being an expert on anything dream or sex related, I would say that he is probably thinking and dreaming about it in his sleep. You dream the most in your lightest cycles of sleep. So somehow his will, or desire, to do certain things is overriding the nighttime off switch.

As far as I know I have never done this particular action in my sleep, but I have woken up having full on sex with my wife before. I also have screaming night terrors, and can have a conversation or even talk on the phone while I am asleep and have absolutely no recollection of it.

So my conclusion would be that your husband is awesome, and has magical sleep powers! less
