When I was in college, I had a weekend evening waitress gig. If I had sex in the afternoon, I felt so energized that I just flew around the restaurant.
Now, at 28, I don't feel energized from sex but more zoned out or mellow and often sleepy.
I am a kick-boxer and when I spar I totally avoid sex prior to going to the gym as after sex I seem to loose my edge and competitive energy. When I get home my sexual energy is at a peak so if my man is home I just about attack him or take a shower with a vibe for orgasmic satisfaction.
Anyone feel the same way??

I can't compare to when I was younger as I didn't have much chance for sexual activity (high school-college age had three experiences and I didn't get anything out of them; then a celibate marriage).

Anyway, in my early 30's, I get really chatty and cuddly afterwards. Which can suck when the guy prefers to just pass out.

I seriously hate how men just fall asleep! My fiance does it 50% of the time, but it's really nice because often, he wakes back up and wants to talk. The only problem with that is I might be asleep by that time.

I do often feel energized. I'll get up, make a snack, possibly go work out or watch a movie.

I am practicing kick boxing as well as of last week. I've been hitting it hard with a trainer at the gym and I seem to be getting almost a high off of my workouts.

As an almost 50 male, I typically get mellow or sometimes sleepy.

I read an article about male boxers refraining from sex for a few (?) days prior to competition to be more competitive. I hate it when I think sex or masturbation will make me loose my edge.
Any athletes out there who can relate??

It depends. If we are having sex late at night than it can make me sleepy for bed. But if we are playing as well as having sex during the day than sometimes it can make me more energized, especially with the endorphins happening after a good spanking

if its just once, were usually pretty sleepy afterwards, if were having one of those marathon days, we usually both get pretty hyper

I feel tired after sex most of the time. Every once in awhile it'll wake me up and make me super alert for about 5 minutes, but then I crash. I'm only 22, so I hope I don't get more tired as I get older!
