I take anti-anxiety medications and I used to take an anti-depressant. I definitely noticed a decrease in my sex drive with the anti-depressant. Is anyone else in my boat???

other....I had a birth control pill at one point that killed my sex drive, as well as gave me lots of horrible side effects (breast pain that made touching them near impossible!). Needless to say, I changed brands and am happy as a clam now.

My current epilepsy medication doesn't but pass ones used to, Depakote and Depakene really affected my libido a great deal. Now that I'm no longer on them I'm much more..... active!

I have friends that say meds decrease their sex drive a lot. Mine never have, thank goodness.

My meds have had an effect on me I had a doctor wanting to do implant surgery on me, but I said no, my lady says we can get by, just not doing it as often. Pills work but are very expensive.
