The other day, I was listening to the radio and they were discussing sexual partners (how many they've had). Honestly, I was a bit surprised by the numbers, so I wanted to see what people on here said.

This topic has come up quite a few times among friends and what we always run into is that it all depends on how a person defines sex. I've noticed that to many straight people, sex = penis in vagina sex, but like many queer persons, my sex life doesn't revolve around piv sex so it's complicated. In addition, my involvement in the kink community means that I do things that can be sexual but are things that a vanilla person wouldn't include in a definition of "having sex" so that complicates it even further. Basically, it all comes down to what qualifies as a sex partner?
