I've noticed that to many straight people, sex = penis in vagina sex, but like many queer persons, my sex life doesn't revolve around piv sex so it's complicated. In addition, my involvement in the kink community means that I do things that can be sexual but are things that a vanilla person wouldn't include in a definition of "having sex" so that complicates it even further. Basically, it all comes down to what qualifies as a sex partner?

PIV sex would just be once. I would consider there to be three people. Some people may consider there to be five.
Definitions of "sex" make a HUGE difference for this question.
