Sex drive suppression

Does anyone know of any products that can help me eliminate my sex drive? Maybe like a chemical castration drug or something?

Because I don't want it anymore. I'm tired of living with a constant hormone-created need for something I can never have.

I'm a female, and in the same boat. My hubby has a low sex drive and I'm practically a sex addict. I won't cheat on him, and I am so sexually frustrated I am ready to hump the furniture! I know anti depressants are supposed to supress sex drive, but it doesn't work for me. Seems like it's even higher now!! WTF??

Over this summer I've been working out hardcore at the gymn and lost 45lbs. While none of this made my wife any more interested in me, the side effect is elivated testosterone so as if I wasn't under sexed as it is, now it's all I can think about. Like you I don't want ot cheat on her and we have kids so I'm not going to divorce her at least untill my youngest is 14, so I'm stuck with her for no less than 13 years. But tonight I told myself if she's still not in the mood by December, I'm going to have to start looking for a lover.

My heart goes out to you! The only thing I can suggest is keep communicating with your wife.

Therapy for both of you would be the best bet. You don't want to stunt your sex drive as there IS life after bad spots in marriages.

If she won't go, go by yourself. It could be very helpful and help you learn to communicate more efficiently. Most kids of divorce say they wish their parents had separated sooner rather than later, due to all the stress. But, I would certainly try a good 6 months with a therapist first.

But what can a therapist even do besides bill me? I've tried communicating with her in every way and she's always been the type that's closed off. It's actually pretty pathetic in how little she'll tell me. Such as if I ask her "Do you like the way I maved my facial hair?" She will not answer me and not even shoving bamboo shutes under her nails will make her answer me.

Most of those kids that are dealing with divorce have parents who are fighting all the time. We barely fight, it's the absence of physical effection that I can no longer take. We don't kiss anything more than a quick peck on the lips, ever, not even during sex. This is only a small example. Also I want to be a full time part of my kids lives, not just a weekend dad. There are a few traits my wife has that I never want instilled in my kids(i.e. she came from a home that lives off the system and looks for handouts first, I am very self sufficiant and do not like asking people for handouts), and without me there it'll be monkey see-monkey do.

Add-in
I just checked out this thread. [url:Do you get off every time you have sex?]

Just adds to my depression here. I make my wife cum no less than three times, every time we do have sex. And this poll says that most women don't even get once. Actually, this doesn't make me as depressed as it does resentful."

I am in the same boat! I had a hysterectomy last year and ever since I am about ready to hump the furniture to steal from a previous answer ( I thought it was funny )
I asked my GYN for something to supress my sex drive and that didn't happen, that is how I in turn found EF, my hubby god love him delivers to me daily, but sometimes I need more then he can provide.
I am really hoping I am just "peaking" due to the fact I am 39 w/ one ovary, but my GYN said I was no where near menopause. UGH!!
