Essentially, we have a plan. We wanted to get married in our early twenties (check that one off the list) and have kids in our mid-to-late twenties.
I got Implanon about 2 years ago, and it'll be removed next spring (when it's run out). If I react like the average user, I (we) won't be able to conceive for about another year or so after that, which at least puts us a bit closer to our intended timeline.

My periods interfere with my painful abdominal illness I have, so the less periods I have, the more tolerable my chronic pain becomes.

Definitely pregnancy protection and STD prevention (both covered by condoms as I can't handle hormonal birth control).

Depends on the kind. I'm paranoid about STD's so that's my main reason for using condoms, but the pill is just to prevent pregnancy.

Pregnancy prevention. I do not plan on having kids, and to be honest I am extremely afraid of ever getting pregnant.

I do wish I didn't have to take pills though! Too bad it's not really optional for me (in my opinion).

I have been on hormonal forms of birth control to control the effects of endometriosis. That was years ago.
