I'm poly but we're polyfidelitous, so no testing required here either.

MASSIVE PROBLEM>>>>> MONOGAMOUS Is not an excuse to not get tested. Many diseases do not show symptoms right away. You or your partner could have had something for YEARS and not know about it. Also there is no test for HPV for men so he could test clean and ladies 8 in 10 of you will have HPV before you are 50. GET TESTED

We were virgins at the beginning of the relationship, except one of us, and he got his "I'm clean" papers before we did anything. We've been together 9 years and none of us have had a single symptom of HPV. HPV is taken care of with regular pap smears, since there's no test anyway. No need to get tested for us. Seriously. We know what we're doing.

Trust is a beautiful thing - paperwork is forever. Not to say that your partner is or would ever cheat on you but not everyone who thinks they are in a monogamous relationship really is. I strongly believe that STI testing should be a regular part of the yearly exam. I did not get tested this month but I have this year.
