What kind of birth control do you use?

I love my copper IUD. I've had it for almost three years now with no problems at all. I also like that it doesn't use hormones because I have tested positive for blood clots in the past.

I wear an IUD and I have had it for about 4 years almost. I am glad I got it, it was a monay saving option for me, as it is long term and most of the costs for the prescription were covered by the company I used to work for.

I will be removing it this summer and switching to another birth control, perhaps the pill. I'm not sure yet. I am so excited about having children, I plan on having kids in about a year!

I use NuvaRing, and I absolutely love it.
I don't use condoms with my boyfriend, because I am allergic to latex.

I was on either Seasonelle or Seasonique (can't remember which) for 3 months, and it wreaked havoc on my poor body. I gained 15 pounds, I became an emotional wreck, and my face turned into a war zone. So I gave up on that and decided that I'd just track my cycles using a calendar, and my husband would use a condom. I know my body well enough that I'm able to tell exactly when I'm ovulating, so that's when my husband and I are extra careful and either don't have sex for those 3-4 days or make sure to use a condom the *entire* time we're having intercourse. I've been relying on this form of birth control for 2 and 1/2 years, and I've never had a problem with it.

Condoms, the pill killed my sex drive and made it near impossible to orgasm. Sucks.

My wife and I used the pull out method for years. She eventually did go on the pill because we both love me cumming in her.

I use the Nuva Ring because I'd forget to take pills at the same time everyday, the ring you just leave in for three weeks at a time. I use condoms too though with it, and there's been no pregnancy scares this way.

Being in a monogamous marriage, afgter our third child was born, I got a vasectomy. It was my choice, but I wanted to get my wife off of the pill at the time (1970's), because of the cancer scares at the time. It was a good choice for us, and has worked well for over 30 years. Not a great choice for single individuals however, as it tends to be permanent.

The pill and somtimes condoms. I wish I could get my tubes tied, but by law I can't. I have to have at least 2 children in order to get it done.

I'm on continuous birth control to control my endometriosis. I take the pill, so far it's the only thing that works well enough.

i used to take the pill, for years really. i started on it too soon, my periods hadnt had a chance to even out yet. breast cancer history and a lack of wanting to fuck with my hormones had me off it. i considered very seriously an IUD and have done plenty of research on it over the past year but i think we'll stick with our current method which is
the calendar method

and coitus interuptus.

meaning he doesn't come in me, unless it's during or just before/after my period, when i'm not fertile.

it worked in a 3 year long relationship, and has worked for us for 10 months. while i do know this is not at all 100% effective, and have known folks to claim they got prego this way... it's worked for me.
i may be infertile.

I tried the pill for just over a month, but it messed with my epilepsy and I almost had a seizure. Now I have to avoid all hormones, so condoms are my birth control. Since I just started having sex, my doctor suggested I wait a few months before trying an IUD.

I've been on depo for over 10 years and I love it. No periods whatsoever. I had originally started on it because I was supposed to be apart of a drug study. I loved the side effects and have only gone off of it a couple of times just to see if things return to normal (when I am not sexually active of course) I also have partners use condoms but that is because I am more worried about STD's then pregnancy.
