What kind of birth control do you use?

I have an IUD. Best decision of my life. Although it was the worst pain ever to have it put in, I got it for free through insurance. And because I lost my period immediately, I've saved so much money on pads/tampons and monthly birth control. No only saved money, but sanity (no more mood swings or other side effects )

I'm on the pill but I lie about it. Meaning, I tell male-partners that I am not on the pill so they don't wiggle out of using a condom. I like protection from STDs as well. =P

I have been on birth control for over eight years now. I was initially on it because of my painful periods. I was not sexually active at that time but have not stopped taking it because I wanted to have two forms of birth control now that I am sexually active.
My boyfriend and I use male condoms as well as the pill. We want to have kids in the future but don't want to have them right now. I am looking to go off the pill for many reasons.
I was wondering what you all used and why you used it.

The male in the relationship had a vasectomy. He banked his sperm on the chance that we might decide to have kids. Best decision ever.

We use condoms right now. I'm thinking about getting on the pill though.

I love the depo shot! We do still use condoms for the first week after I get it, but other than that we are free to do what we want
