I'm just curious because of another thread in which a member said it was easy to find a Planned Parenthood. The closest one to me is 40 miles away.. and I just had to look that up.

My state has a very similar service though, which I use instead.

I wasn't even sure if we had Planned Parenthood in Canada, to be honest. I just googled it though, and apparently there's one in the next city, about a half hour drive away from me. I'm not sure if it's the same thing, though. It only offers counselling and education, and they will refer you to a doctor. From what I have heard, in the US they actually offer medical services.

While there isn't one in my town, there is a Planned Parenthood location in three other boroughs of NYC. They're quite accessible by subway.

There is one in this town, near one of the high schools... Though I believe the name has changed from Planned Parenthood to something I can't quite remember. It was in danger of being shut down by protesters at one point, but it has survived as far as I know.

i'm so grateful for PP here. they've helped me out with many things, including pap smears, STI screenings, birth control, and yeast infection treatments. all at a low cost. i have no insurance so without them, i would go untreated, or unprotected.

We don't have one in town, and the clinic that we have isn't really like a planned parenthood at all.

Closest one to me is about 18 miles away, all the way in the city. If I ever needed it, I'd honestly probably go to one a little farther out in the suburbs. But I ended up with 20 results in a 65 mile or so radius.

There is one within 10-15 minutes of my house. I drive past it a couple of times a week.

Sometimes there are people wearing signs walking outside it. The signs say "Pray to end abortion". I want to tell them... well, if you'd let the young men and women go inside and get birth control and condoms that might help!

The closest to me is in another state, Knoxville,TN. If I went to the one in my state I'd have to go over 3 hours to get there.

There's one 20 minutes away from me. It's on a big university campus.

I go by it often, but I have never needed to use it. I am lucky to have health insurance and my gynecologist is great.

I have friends that go to PP for birth control, though and it seems like the go-to place if you don't have insurance.

We live in a small town, so there isn't one here. But there is one about 20-25 minutes away in the next town over.

Planned Parenthood is great! When I didn't have insurance, they helped me keep up with birth control, paps, testing. They're awesome.
