Bubble bath & infections

Contributor: Zombirella Zombirella
I'm not really sure if I have a reaction to glycerin, but I used lubricant with glycerin for a couple years before I came here and learned from others about the health concerns.

I am prone to getting yeast infections, sorry for the gross topic. But I noticed some bubble baths having glycerin in them and I was wondering if they can cause a yeast infection? Since you are just laying in it and not actually inserting anything there could it still cause one, does anyone know? I asked the gyno a few questions today while I was there but I forgot this one.

Yes. If it clings to the exterior it can theoretically be pushed inside during sexual activity.
