OK, I had to have a pelvic ultrasound last week and was shocked when I was told that my vaginal canal was not curved like the majority of women, but straight up!
I was told to come in with my bladder full and was even offered water when I got there.
Then the discovery was made that I had a "different" style of vaginal canal that had to be tested on an empty bladder. Well, I emptied my bladder and had the ultrasound.
I am still sort of unnerved that my canal is different than the average woman's.
Is this why I can't find my g spot?
Is this why curved toys do nothing for me?
I am interested to know if anyone else here has a straight up vaginal canal.
Is it so unusual? Am I a freak of nature?
The doctor told me not to be concerned about it, but I am!
Straight as an arrow all the way up!

OK, well I guess no one here has this particular problem and can not answer my questions?
I guess it really is a rarity.
I better count my blessings that I can cum at all and stop worrying about curved toys and g spot orgasms.

My doctor once told me "Every woman is different. What is unique to you, is also YOUR normal".

My vaginal canal veers off to the right THEN goes up, but it's totally safe and is my normal.

Indeed! I have a friend with a "backwards" uterus, which makes some positions painful. My mother has a heart-shaped uterus.

It is! Sadly, my head got stuck in one of the humps at the top and I couldn't turn over, so I had to be delivered C-section.

Thanks Eden C . I feel a lot better about my weird anatomy. A heart shaped uterus does sound adorable!

No problem! I've also noticed that the angle of the vaginal canal varies. I am white and my vagina is slanted back (toward my buttocks), and I have found other white women to have similar anatomy. However, the Asian women I've been with have vaginas that slant forward. I mean, I wouldn't say I have enough data to draw scientific conclusions, but I think there's a lot of variation out there.

Do you think the straight up thing is why I've never found the g spot?

Have you tried with the G-Ki? It's adjustable, so it might be easier for you to find your g-spot.

I've heard of people having a backwards uterus, but not a straight vaginal canal... I wonder if my doctor would even mention it

Eden c, the more curved the toy the worse it goes! I don't have problems having vaginal orgasms with straight toys although they are not g spot orgasms. So I guess I'll stick with that for now. did a review on an extremely curved , hard toy today and yuck! did another on a straight silicone one and WOW! never find g spot tho'

tigerkate, if you ever have to get pelvic ultrasound and they can't see anything cause they are trying to look thru the curve that is not there, they will tell you it has to be done another way. ask why and they will tell you. I am 48 and never knew til now! of course I wasn't looking for a g spot then either. I have decided not to worry about a g spot anymore, cause theres not one there!
