I'm not only a potato lover, but an animal lover too! My favorite pets are my cats & of course my weiner dog, but I find it easier to love cats. Their just precious. I love all pets. I've had many including cats, my weiner dog, toy poodle, and a part chocolate lab & part who-knows. Her name was phyllis & she was amazing! I've also owned a sugar glider a.k.a. flying squirrel. I've owned exotic fish too! & rabbits and hamsters and a gecko as a kid.

I own two dogs right now. I live in a large apartment/condo (might as well be a small house) with my roommate who also has a dog, a fish tank, and a hamster. I love my dogs, but I basically HATE her pets with a passion. The fish obviously aren't a problem, but the hamster gives me allergies like nobodies business. Her dog is always getting into the bag of dog food, even when he's eaten too much already. He is always running down the hall and getting into neighbors' apartments, and although they don't mind, it's a hassle for me to deal with when my roommate isn't home.

My two dogs are good for the most part, but the larger one runs away a lot. He comes back within half an hour, but it is very annoying to have to chase him or wonder if he is okay. The little dog is sweet, and doesn't need much caring for besides cuddling and feeding - except she is incontinent and can't always hold her bladder. So she stays in a doggie playpen or in the kitchen on the tile.

I love having them because they are so sweet. But sometimes the caring for is just too much, especially when I'm sick which is quite often.

Dogs are pretty much the only pets I like. I am allergic to cats (otherwise I think I would like them). I don't really like birds or rodents etc. as pets.

My girl wanted a lot of pets as a kid. We had fish for a while and did get a dog. I wouldn't say I hate pets - but honestly we can't wait for the old dog to 'go'. We're tired of cleaning up after it.

We can't have pets in our apartment, but as soon as we have our own house, we are getting a dog (well, I'm pulling for two).

I have no interest in cats, fish, or any other pets, but as a child I dreamed about having my own nice, cuddly koala...LOL I'm pretty sure it was inspired by a cartoon, but it's a nice thought.

there was 8 people living in the house and everyone had animals!
i loved every minute of it being in the house with alot of animals.

I have 6cats, 8fish,and dozen or so snails. Cats names are Jamie, Diablo, Dopey, Stormie, Lola, and Lily...4girls and 2boys all fixed. We love animals working on getting bird, lizard, 3dogs, and snake! Can not wait we want a zoo. We ended up with so many cats because I had a cat at my parents outside one and she had kittens i brought them all into my room and took care of them. Got attached to two of them then we moved to our own place and the cat at my parents had more kittens so we decided we take one and then we wanted it to have friend so we ended up with two more. Those two had babies before we go get them fixed so we ended up with 2 more that was the whole litter. LOL we have cats everywhere and they really cool. We have move to get dogs landlord won't allow us to have one. We have 4fish tanks two have just betas in them and the one is a community tank and other is snail tank. Moving soon hope we get puppy we want a Chinese crescent, German Shepard, and not sure what else. Want to name them Ricky, Julian and Bubbles after Trailer park boys we just love them.

I love animals, but live in an apartment complex so its super expensive to have them (deposits and pet rent) but I got a cat years back with my mom, she got one as well, and he doesnt like me much (although i looooove him) and he lives with her. Her cat and my cat became friends so it worked out haha.

Between my partner and I we own 3 cats (2 female 1 male all domestic short hair)

3 dogs (though 1 belongs to my parents) a German Shepherd/Boxer mix, a "Jackabee" Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle mix (parents dog) and my baby boy, German Shepherd/Australian Shepherd/Elkhound/Pood le/Schnauzer mix!

We also own 12 fish (more to come soon) and we love exotic pets! I am into tarantulas and he loves birds. We BOTH love snakes, lizards of all types, frogs and turtles.

My baby boy with all 5 of those breeds aww he is so pretty:
