I love conditioner - but before that I used Edge or Skintimate. Coochie Cream is good but too expensive for me.

Honestly, I've never had a "perfect shave," but the Coochy shave creme gets me the closest. I've been using it exclusively for several months now. I have no complaints.

My mom makes her own soap. It's super gentle and lathers extremely well. I use that and it works sooo good. I would suggest going to a local flea market type thing and trying to find some homemade soap. It's inexpensive and gentle.

I use just my regular old Ivory. I also use an exfoliation glove to get a good lather and to get the skin nice and smooth

I really like the Coochy shave cream. It gives a nice close shave that is smooth and works well on all areas.

I second the conditioner. I use dove soap to shave everything and slap some conditioner or moisturizer on afterward, smooth as a baby's ass every time!

hmm. I use only water, and always a 4 or 5 blade razor. but the best shaver I have ever used, is the schick intuition, with the soap bar built in. no need for shaving cream, and the softest skin I have ever touched.

I'm reasonably certain that the Coochy shaving cream isn't too much more than conditioner with aloe added.

There's a lot of talk about using silicone lube - apparently it works great!

I tried conditioner but I have bad skin allergies...as in I break out in hives every time I shower, no matter what I use. Needless to say the conditioner left me an itchy mess. I have tried Coochy though and it actually didn't bother my skin wo I'm sticking with it.

Interesting - there are dozens of conditioner ingredients, I wonder which one Coochy cream leaves out! Maybe silicone lube would work as well - but seems like you have something that works - so stick with it!

Try Neosporin. That was Kayden Kross' tip during Porn Club to get a smooth, bump-free shave! Use it to shave with (like a shaving gel), as well as to leave some on the skin after your shave to kill any residual bacteria that cause the bumps.

I use bikini zone shave gel and the after treatment. They work okay, but it was painful to shave everyday at first. It was embarrasing, but I started using boudreaux's butt paste (baby rash stuff) in between shaves until my skin could handle shaving everyday. Now I don't need it and the bikini zone works great.

I love Skintimate's Cream Shave, in the funky looking plastic bottles. It's the only thing I can use for shaving my pubic and bikini areas that doesn't leave me covered with ingrown hair bumps the next day. Also, before I started using it, if my husband and I were to try to be intimate within the same day of shaving it would be uncomfortable, like what was left of the hair under the skin was stabbing me from inside, but I haven't had that problem since I switched to this shave cream. It seriously gives me the closest shave I've ever gotten, like baby butt smooth. It's different from the other Skinitmate shave gels, which I really don't care much for. It's amazing!
