Yup and it sucks! I ended up with a serious urinary tract infection that we think might have been connected to the BV so now I am being ultra careful.

I'm presuming you are refering to Bacterial Vaginosis?

From what I know, it is relatively common in women and these women need to be reassured that it is not always their faults. some women just have a natural overgrowth of bacteria in the vagina.

Yup. Spending 6 weeks wearing a pad after childbirth can seriously screw with your chemistry down there.

yup I switched to a menstrual cup now but a few weeks ago I had BV on top of a yeastie infection yuck yuck!!

Yes, and it was pretty bad. Keeping dry down there seems to help prevent infections.
