I believe that I have gained a greater self awareness, found out about things I never knew existed. Willing to try some of them. This has opened lines of communications between my spouse and myself. By the way the 20th was our 16th year anniversary of our first date. I found out that he is willing to try a whole lot more than I ever thought!

Whoa---where do I start!! I have learned quite a bit from EF. I will try to narrow it down to the most important lessons, but each lesson was important in its own way.
I have learned:
1. that I can ask for and accept the advice, support and friendship from other members on the site.
2. I am NOT the only woman that enjoys porn, sex and toy play with my partner. There are others who love this as well.
3. That I have lost out on many good experiences and orgasms by judging and rejecting toys on appearance and material.
4. That my husband and I are still in love, are willing to make our relationship work, have developed a very deep & lasting closeness with each other, are more accepting and open with each other and are still committed to each other and exploring our sexuality with each other. By using and reviewing our toys and other sexual areas together it allowed us to put our more negative feelings and issues to the side until we were capable of dealing with them rationally.
5. That I LOVE variety, experimenting with new textures, items and materials.

Oh, maybe since I started the thread I should say what *I've* learned. For one, our (hubs and I) sex life is just dandy and not unusual. A close family member and I were discussing this topic one day and she declared that my husband and I have too much sex. I don't get that.
And a variety of toys are fun! There's so much more out there than *just* traditional vibrating dildos. And there's such a thing as luxury vibes and toys? Just finding that out is awesome. I don't have to deal with cheap jellies and tacky packaging if I don't want to! And we've recently discovered that we have a thing for *non-piercing* body jewelry on me. I found that out through the review program when I selected the Asian Hearts nipple rings. (What exactly makes them *Asian* hearts, anyway?)
The hubs, even though he doesn't participate on Eden, enjoys me being here because I find new and interesting things. He's even open to trying some toys he would have just said a flat out no to before.
Everyone has entered such great answers so far!

I've become more open in general about toys. I used to think, "If I could just get a good dildo and a good vibe, I'd be set." But now I can honestly say that I want a lot more than that! The site's also helped me think about sex in new ways. I was open about sex before, but I am even more so now.
