Have you ever hurt yourself or had an injury while inserting a kegel ball(s)?

Uh-oh! I got my first kegel ball the other day. Goodness I did not realize how large these balls were until really looking at the video reviews the other day. Thank God I looked at them or I'd have ordered the 2 balls. So instead, I went with the single SmartBall. I've worn it for short periods the past couple days and both times had some trouble. Is it just me?

The first time, I had to have assistance putting it in and taking it out! The ball is so big that it wants to drag my urethra with it. I can't get it not to do that and it really hurts.

Yesterday, I had serious pain in my lower abdomen after wearing them for an hour. I have endometriosis and often times I'll experience very intense cramp-like pain that'll have me doubled over, and finding it hard to even breathe. That happened while wearing the ball and it's been 6 months since I've experienced the intense edo-like pain. Strange. It was like it pushed on my uterus and caused it to hurt some.

Thankfully no cramps or pain happened while wearing it today, but it was a b**** to get in. Liquid Silk is a must just to get it in.

Am I the only one with trouble inserting the big things? And have you ever hurt yourself using them? Just curious.

I'm in between.
You did not include an answer that fits my experience (if so, I'm sorry. Please feel free to let me know anyway.)

I sometimes have discomfort removing them. I always use a ton of lube to insert them, but when I go to push them out it feels like everything tightened back up and dried up, so it's a bit painful.

I haven't used kegel balls yet. Just the exercises without anything. It might be on my list for the next order though!

When I used the balls I just didn't feel them at all. I had no problems putting them in but I had a heck of a hard time getting them out. They didn't hurt me or anything though

First of all you are not a wierdo!!! I have not had any pain or trouble when using my emigi. I have been wearing them more often this summer. Sorry you have been having a hard time. Maybe you should do your kegels without inserting a toy. When I took childbirth classes 21 years ago we were taught they were effective if done correctly without inserting anything.

I don't have any problems inserting mine. If they're not inserted just right, I do occasionally have problems with them trying to fall out of me without warning though.

I don't have those specific kegel balls, but if I use the ones I do have for more than 30 minutes or so, I get cramps, too. It sucks! And I definitely have to lube the set up before inserting them.

Depends on the size, I did felt discomfort when I used the Teneo Duo, they're just too long to fit into my slightly smaller vagina - bummer!

I've used a few different ones with no problems. I recently got the Crystal egg and that thing is huge! It's a bit painful getting it in but otherwise I don't notice it.

I'm not sure if you're supposed to do this anyway, but I have to take them out when I pee.

I had the same issues with the SmartBalls. I also had a hard time peeing if I didn't remove them before I went. Weird. O.o For what it's worth, that's the only set I've had problems with. I also have Ami, Luna, Emigi, and some other I'm forgetting and haven't had issues with any of those. Luna just came out with the Mini Luna Beads, so those might be worth looking into as I hear the Ami have been out of stock some time.
