I don't recall ever having a hymen.

Perhaps it's because I started masturbating at a young age, but is it possible that I didn't have one to begin with? I don't remember ever breaking it while masturbating, and there wasn't any bleeding the first time I was penetrated.

(this is kind of a weird question, now that I look over it again...)

I'm the same way. I don't know if I never had one, or if it just wore away on its own without really breaking. It did take me a little while to work up with fingers before I was able to take a penis, but I never had any bleeding or felt anything break and my first time didn't hurt at all.

I never felt mine rip either. Never any pain or blood. Nothing.

I've heard they can be ripped by using tampons, vigorous sports, or even injury to the area at a young age.

I not only bled a lot and felt it rip, but I can still see remnants of it. It goes all the way around except for the area where it ripped. Giving birth didn't change that. Now I'm curious to know what it looked like before it was broken.

I think you three maybe had minimal hymens from the start. Or I had a substantial one.

I don't remember breaking my hymen. I think between sports, tampons, and masturbating what hymen I had wore away over time. Never had that cliched moment of pain and blood.

none for me. which makes me question where it may have went. but, amnesia is often the body's way of protecting its self.

I don't have a clue when mine broke---I didn't use tampons or vaginal penetrative masturbation til after I had PIV sex, but I still didn't have any pain or bleeding the first time. But, I do have a visible remnant. So, I must have had one at some point.

It's possible to be born without one, but very rare.

If you did things slowly, it's possible it stretched and thus never tore. Have you taken a good look at the area ?

There are good references out there that show different possible shapes and configurations as well.

You may not have had one, but it's very possible that it broke at some point in your life and you never noticed it. Happens often.
