It was that time of year again, and my gyno informed me of my tipped uterus. Wondering if anyone else has any ideas on toys that are better/worse for women who have a tipped uterus than for women whose uterus is normal?

Ideas on toys for women with a tipped uterus?

It's my understanding that a tipped uterus tips backwards, instead of the usual forwards and is a fairly common occurrence. I don't know that this would be an issue for use of insertable toys. If you have not used dildos or insertable vibrators before, you might first try more flexible shafts rather than the more rigid materials of toys made of glass or metal.

I see no reason why you could not use any toy you choose as long as you find you are not causing yourself pain while using it.

I have a tipped and prolapsed uterus and I don't have a problem with most toys. That said, the most comfortable and my very favorite toy is the Hitachi Wand with a g-spot attachment. In fact, any g-spot dildo or vibrator is the most comfortable type of toy for me.

I'm asking because I got a vibe and to get the clitoral stimulation, it's just about bottoming out; and I'm not into having my cervix bumped... Guess I'll just have to look for less insertable length.

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly. Clitoral vibes are for external use on the clitoris. G-spot or vaginal vibes are inserted.

Sorry, it's a dual action vibe.

Dual action vibes are body specific, and it's often a challenge to find the shape that fits one's body the best. I doubt the tipped uterus is a significant factor, so much as the position of your g-spot in relation to your clitoris. I've seen many dual action vibes with far too long of a shaft for my tastes -- my favorites are the Vibratex Rosebud and the Lelo Ina, both of which fit me very well. Do read the reviews, and check the 'view actual size' feature against the toy you already own. That will help narrow down your choices.

I second the clit vibes since they don't have to be inserted. Is there anything in particular you're interested in?

Still figuring this all out. It was (is) my first dual action vibe and I guess I had no idea what I was looking for, and when my gyno told me about my tipped uterus, I put one and one together and apparently got five... (never was good at math) Thanks to everyone who's been posting, this is why I love Eden, because I have some place to go to with these questions!

There are some dual action vibes that don't go in very far. Look into the Fun Factory Delight or Delight Click n Charge, and the Je Joue G-Ki. Both are very pricey but might do the trick. I'm not sure if there are any other dual action vibes that cost less and work the same as these.

Thanks, I'll check these out... they may have to live in my wish list for a while, as I haven't got much money to spare right now, but it'll be nice to have something to drool over, I guess
