I am just wondering because I think it wouldn't harm anything it would just be gross.

As far as I know, it's perfectly harmless. I've heard some people even say it helps them with the cramps. Personally I don't think I could do it, though. It's not the gross factor (I have a pretty light flow for the most part), it's the fact that my period kills my sex drive.

Yeah its fine, I usually use condoms and lay a few towels down, but more than half of the time im not in the mood.

I have had sex with my period and never had any issues. It depends on your comfort level, but I only do it on "light" days.

Beyond potential drive and arousal issues (due to hormones), the only problems would be mess and possibly needing more/additional lube. Both problems can be easily overcome.

Been dong it for 20 some odd years with no problems yet. We even have a red flannel shirt we use just for that.
