Great review! I wanted a diva cup but since my cervix is so low it would be too long. I just adore the poutch it comes with. I'm a sucker for packaging

I think I have decided on the lunette. Its small but holds a lot without putting pressure on the bladder once I give birth.

I haven't tried one but the thought is kind of freaky for me to collect it in a cup and take it out.

I use cloth pads and a lunette menstrual cup, its actually simple size 1 is for virgins or people who had c-sections. Size 2 is for people who delivered vaginally or over the age of 30.

i LOVE my cup. As soon as i heard of them i wanted to buy one. I got my Moon Cup US for $25 after shipping and it's been the best investment ever!

It can take some time getting used to, but so do tampons. I love that i can have my cup in BEFORE my period and it doesn't dry me out and i don't have to worry!

AND since using a cup my periods and cramps have gotten lighter! I used to cringe on the floor in pain and take as much medication as i could and now i hardly ever cramp! AWESOME!

My daughter/s will all be shown how to use one someday

Nothing like a pad. It's a small silicone cup that you place inside your vagina to CATCH your flow (you dump it out) instead of absorbing. 1 cup can last up to 10 years, cost around $30-$40 on average and can be worn up to 12 hours at a time. WAY better than anything else on the market!

For those that do, and ... more
um....you can't wear it during sex....so that is not an issue

and i DO enjoy mine. SO much that i've gotten lots and lots of my friends to use them now as well!

I have The Diva Cup. There are two sizes. The size one is supposed to be for women under 30 or who have not had a child. And the size two is for women over 30 or who HAVE had a child.

if it is positioned right it creates a suction cup like action in the vagina (which prevents leakage or seeping), letting the blood drip as it naturally would from the cervix as opposed to it being absorbed by cotton in a tampon. There is also no risk of TSS because your flow collects in the cup and you can empty it with virtually no mess. I personally just bought one last month and i didn't feel wet or sticky as i would wearing a pad or tampon. I also didn't have to change as frequently which was a MAJOR PLUS since I'm usually working all day and don't want to have to change in the public bathroom lol

Yes. (I recently misplaced mine, and it's boggling my mind how much waste I'm generating via tampon use.)

Diva Cup convert! I've had the odd minor leak, but no more so then when I used to use tampons. And they are way more comfortable than tampons too!

I have a diva cup. I got an IUD about six months ago and dont get my period anymore, but when I did I LOVED that thing!! It was SO easy to use, comfortable, and very very rarely leaked (and even when it did, it was minimal). I absolutely recommend menstrual cups.

LOVE LOVE LOVE my cup!!!

The Diva Cup is the most popular out there and widely available but it is also the longest. I have a Keeper (rubber latex) and a mooncup (silicone). I'm also interested in trying the Lunette silicone cup and the Meluna. I cut them stems off of mine, they are annoying and I don't need them.

I've been using cups for about 3 years now and I'll never go back. They are better in every fathomable way.

I love mine. I save money and they're better for the environment and safer for your body than tampons IMO. Haven't looked back.

You take it out during sex, like you would a tampon! -_-

I use the DivaCup. It comes in two sizes just so you know. I like that there's no waste to deal with but I don't exactly love it since I'm easily squicked out. The stem was a bit too long at first, so I cut a bit of it off, but I still didn't like the texture so I just turn it inside out and it works just fine. I got mine from a local sex store.

i wear mine during sex all the time. only once have i had a problem with it - a really big guy had problems with it causing chafing on his dick. but we could've just taken it out, i was just too lazy.

also, if i fuck with it in, there's next to no bloody mess, if any at all.

I tried the Diva Cup a few years ago. I used it for about 6 months or so b4 I eventually gave up on it. After a few periods it was discolored and dingy looking, and it was hard to clean the little holes out around the rim. I have about 2 heavy days, and on those days I would need to empty it twice a day. The mid-day emptying was always a pain and embarassing since I would have to use a public bathroom and it was always pretty messy. I had to trim the stem off the cup because it poked me. In the end, I stopped using it mainly because it didn't make me feel any cleaner or fresher, and it was always such a mess to empty and reinsert. Now that its been a while and I'm not stuck using a public bathroom during the day I will probably give it another go. Maybe I will try out some other brands as I really want this idea to work for me.

Never tried one, but I think I'd like to. I've read a lot of interesting comments on different polls for the menstrual cups.

I've used a MeLuna for three years. Most companies offer at least two sizes: one for women who haven't had children or are under a certain age and one for women who have had children or are above a certain age. They're great, you don't have to change them as often as tampons, and the only time mine ever leaked was when I first got it and didn't put it in properly.
