So skin can get dry no matter where it is. Do you moisturize your intimate areas, and if so, what do you use?

I apply unscented Vaseline body lotion shortly after shaving, but I make sure not to rub it in too hard and irritate the skin.

nope...I do wash it. This lady on the doctor says that the vagina is a "self-cleaning oven", lol so it's fine on it's own.

I shave with creams that help moisturize, but I don't use anything else.

What? You said "Do you moisturize your intimate parts?" and then you said "So skin can get dry no matter where it is. Do you moisturize your intimate areas and if so, what do you use?"

You're talking lube here then? Sorry. I'm off, but I get ya.

Yes, I do use lubricant down there usually daily while inserting kegel balls, and when we have sex, but only if I need to put something in there. Lol.

I use Yes, an organic, super safe and fabulous lubricant. When I can't find it (which has been two days now! I've misplaced it) I use Wicked Aqua, Liquid Silk or Maximus. Love those, but hate the ingredients.

I'm picky about how lube feels and works, so those are THE ONLY ones I'll use.

Wait. WHAT? What are we talking about? Other people are talking about washing, shaving, etc. Where the heck did I get lost? I thought we were talking about moisturizing our cooters!

Do I wash myself? Why of course! I don't douche because that's really bad for your va-jay-jay's health, it's unnecessary and harmful as it is one of the main causes (aside from antibiotics and the soap you use) of yeast infections. I've never douched and personally won't ever touch one.

I wash myself with a really good, 100% pure and natural herbal soap. I don't like to use any kind of drugstore soaps downstairs though. They make me cringe because I know how harmful the ingredients in them are. I take really good care of my cooter. Hell, come to think of it, I spend A LOT of time on it!

As for shaving, if somehow I'm lost again and you were actually referring to shaving, no I do not shave my cooter. I epilate. I hate hair down there, and I've tried everything including electrolysis, sugaring, waxing, plucking one by one, depillatories, shaving. I love my epilator and am settled on it. I doubt I'll change my method of hair removal. I use one of the cheaper epilators too -- one from CVS for $45. LOVE it! So far it's been going strong since December.

I don't like shaving because it irritates my cooter and the hairs come back in hours. An epilator plucks those SOB's out completely. That's far better for me.

Everywhere else I have dry skin, I use a good intensive lotion -- I love it when I can find a natural one, but it's rare. I apply lotion to my legs, arms and for my face, I use a natural rice moisturizer/anti-ager. I'm a dry person. LOL

What brand of epilator is it? Also what is your pain tolerance like? I've always wanted to try an epilator, but I'm a wuss.

I've waxed, which was okay (pain-wise) until I started getting closer and closer to the... central location. But I got lots of bumps afterward and decided to go back to shaving.

Shaving used to give me bumps until I moisturized with a tea tree oil/jojoba oil combination afterward. Now I'm good, but the hairs sure do grow back fast.

Ok I voted no but now I'm confused. I use lotion on my external skin after I shave and I may use lube now and then. But I don't "moisturize" internally
