Moving in with your partner.

After about 6 months...

I moved in with my partner after we'd been together for about a year and a half. We broke up after 3 months. It wasn't a step we were ready for...

I haven't lived long term with a partner. I "U-Hauled" with a girlfriend years ago, after only dating for a month. Needless to say, that didn't work out well. Haha.

My most recent partner lived in another city when we got together, and he was spending tons of money on gas to drive out every week and see me for a few days. So, it only took us about a month and a half to move in together. It seems such a short time, but boy we are blissfully happy No problems with it so far

We jumped right in about a month in, prior to that we'd been together more often than not also, so I guess...Immediately? haha. 8 years later we're still here!

Prior to my current relationship, I was living on the road, wandering wherever I pleased, which meant if you wanted to be with me you had to either travel with me immediately, or I'd see you again in a few months.

My current relationship we were lusting for 4 or 5 months before we decided to stay in the same place.

Almost a year. We were dating and seeing each other so much it made sense for us to move in together.

As students and soon to be graduates our lives are all over the place and that step probably will not happen for a long time unless it was living together for a month here and there.

After we were decided to be a couple He didn't want me to go home so I just stated slowly bringing stuff to his house from my mom's and soon enough everything was moved out and I was moved in with him. We've been living together since 2006.

My fiance and I dated in college for a year before we decided to move into an apartment off campus the next fall, but for the most part we lived together at either of our parents' houses during summer breaks so we had an idea of what it would be like to live together before we made the commitment of signing our first lease.

I have a friend that moved in with her boyfriend after almost 3 years of dating and they started to resent each other because I think a lot of the barriers they had keeping secrets were torn down.

I think its all dependent on the individuals and the state of your relationship / how much you know about who the person truly is.

I think it depends, I won't move in in till an engagement, but in reality we have practicably moved in together. But we both have our own places so it is still different!

We had a long distance relationship and she was coming for a visit. I'd originally thought maybe for a few days or a week or so. But she stayed for more than a month. It was a surprise, but a very happy one since it worked out very well. So from then on she's with me more than she isn't. She does however keep her place as well.

For us it was about 8 mos. We decided to move in together a couple of months before that, though. It just took some time to execute.
