I have OCPD, which is slightly different than OCD. I have set routines for my day - when I do things and how I do them. So there's a window of time in my day for sex, it's not just "hey, it's 11am, wanna fuck?" That's not in my routine, 11am is for something else. We don't have to have sex at the designated time, but if we want to have sex, it has to be in the time slot for it. It's kinda anal retentive, but it keeps my other mental health issues in check.

I do have OCD, but it doesn't affect my sex life. My OCD has to do with organization of certain things. I am incredibly messy with most of the house, but there are certain things that HAVE to be in a certain order, or I get really upset. I also have a weird thing with little habits, like I can put my left or right sock on first, it doesn't matter, but whichever foot the sock went on first the shoe HAS to go on that foot first too, or I have to take it ALL off and do it over again. When I was a kid, it drove my mom crazy when she'd try to put my shoes and socks on and I'd get upset with her if she didn't do it in the right order. I also have a thing about lefts and rights. If I turn around to talk to somebody, I can't turn around again to face the same direction if I do a 360 degree turn. I have to turn back around the way I turned the last time if that makes sense. Like if I turn to my right, I have to turn back to the left to face the other way again. Or it will BOTHER me to the point where I can be walking and I just have to turn back around again in a circle. It's so weird to watch me do and usually I can play it off so it doesn't look weird to strangers, but people who know me well enough notice it lol

I had a partner who was VERY particular about hygiene. I had to thoroughly was my hands and face. She went WAY beyond being a clean freak though. Honestly, it really took the romance out of the relationship.

It only affects me when I'm having my period. I won't let my husband touch me at all unless I'm 100% clean, and it frustrates him.
