I don't have an actual period due to meds I take for endometriosis, but I get light spotting and period sex does not bother me or my partner at all. Even when I did have one we still had sex and did everything we normally do. As long as you keep everythign clean and all, it's not nasty. I prefer not to during period days because of the pain from the endo, but then there are days where it's not too bad. I really don't see what's so horribly disgusting about it? I mean as long as there's no smell which I see no reason why there would be, and as long as it's clean and not an extremely heavy flow day, what could be so gross?

I say no for period sex. My partner and I don't mind if it's like a very small amount of blood. But full on period sex is just messy and gross. I have a messed up cycle, and when I bleed it's chunkier than other females. It can also smell a little different than the fresh menstrual blood. Which is nasty lol.

I won't get into a relationship with someone if they are not willing to have sex with me on my period. I have long periods and I'm not abstaining that long if I have an opportunity.

I try to steer away from having sex on my period. I find that my fluids dry and create too big of a mess.

I enjoy period sex, helps my cramps and overall just gets things moving faster resulting in a shorter period.
We use a throw or a towel and the shower for cleanup if needed.
