Post-Sex Friction Burning - Best Solution?

Contributor: SexyStuff SexyStuff
I used to get it all the time, now it is getting a little better. Still, from the research I've done it seems the problem is friction. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what did you do to fix it? What is the best lube to use?

The solutions are usually pretty simple. Don't permit penetration until you are well lubricated - but some women just do not lubricate enough naturally - especially when using dildos or vibes internally.

The sure fire solution is to get a good lubricant and use it often. Most on this site love water-based lubes - all the good ones have been reviewed so you can decide what to buy. We just bought some Boy Butter and love it - but we're partial to nut-oil based lubes that contain some combination of Shea, Cocoa, Coconut and or Almond oils.

Good luck!

Yes, you need more lube! Reapply often if you need it. I find though that too much can be a bad thing for me. I need some friction in order to feel sensation, sometimes I get too overzealous with the lube and have to get up and wipe some off.

We currently use Maximus, Gun Oil Silicone (not for use with silicone toys) and they work great! We are currently looking into the nut based oils Gunsmoke mentioned above. I am playing with coconut oil for massage (works real nice) and this weekend will test it in other ways as well!

Lube early, lube often! I don't think I'd recommend using anything afterwards just because that's a very sensitive area - maybe some really pure aloe vera, but probably nothing else.
