Preferred form of birth control?

I like being on the Pill, I'm good at taking it really consistently, so I'd say it fits well with my lifestyle.

I have a copper IUD but I'm on HRT (hormone replacement therapy) so I'll be sterile within the year anyways, thank god!

Also don't down on the pull out method so much, when used PROPERLY (and if you have regular predictable periods) it's actually a decent form of birth control. You just need to know YOUR safe days and do it RIGHT.

I use the pill and have for years. We use condoms when I am on an anti-biotic though. Haven't really tried anything else.

I love my IUD. I've had problems with just about every other form of birth control.

The ring or the pill. The shot made me crazy and killed my drive.

First several years my wife was on the pill then I had a vasectomy. Now that we're nearing our fifties we are happy that we don't have to bother with any form of contraception.

The pill.
I used the patch for a couple months, but I didn't like it. It got all fuzzy from the fibers on my clothes. Not fun.

We use condoms and birth control. Two methods is awesome because the chance of pregnancy is ridiculously low if both are used properly

I've only ever used condoms or withdrawal. Got pregnant using W/D, so I agree that it's not the best method if one really wants to avoid pregnancy. DH and I decided to tentatively try getting pregnant again (first preg. sadly miscarried) but we have to use condoms if we're going to have a decent session because he can't last long otherwise. (More info than you really needed, right? lol)

Personally, I was on the shot and when i started i was only 14
i tried the patch and i loved it but after a while it would fall off, then i switched to the shot and i was about 120 & after i got off the shot i had gained weight. so personally i dont think the shot is the best one to try.

I had surgery a few years back, so I don't really have to worry about it anymore, but I used the patch before that and loved it.

I'm on the pill and I love it. I have no adverse symptoms to it, thankfully. I think I got lucky. We used to use condoms, too, but we both like the natural feel so much better.

Condoms. I have PMDD and I am sensitive to any type of hormone, so birth control is a no-go for me.

I had a uterine ablation done several years ago and I'm happy with it. My doctor swore I wouldn't get pregnant again and at my age I really don't need any more children.

I got an IUD after my son was born. Love not having to worry about anything I took the pill before. Never had any issues with it.

I have been on multiple things and the non-hormonal IUD is it for me. I will never do anything else. Of course, I also use condoms, because I'm not in a committed relationship in which I feel comfortable abandoning them.

Right now we use condoms half ass but mainly rely on the withdraw. I can't go on the pill because it screws with my blood pressure way to much an I am not keen on having something (IUD or implant) placed in my body. So we use the withdraw for now.

I have been using a dry diaphragm for 6 months and I love it! I have tried almost everything else but my body just can not handle hormones.
