Once you get to our age you don't have to worry about it, so I guess I would call it "advanced age". Prior to that I had a vascetomy.

The shot for me, and when I'm not on the shot, I go on the pill. I'm currently on it to prevent my periods so my OB/GYN can rule out some issues I've been having with my vagina. He thinks my periods have been the problem, but I've been on the shot for 4 months now and it turns out he was wrong.

I like BC because it makes me feel better about the amount of hormones I'm taking per day, while other ones (such as the patch) may release different amounts of hormones which can result in lots of mood swings.

I have been taking the pill for going on 7 years now (successfully). I am interested in IUD one day, though.

We use condoms because hormonal birth control isn't something I want and sterilization is not something a doctor will grant to young people T_T

I've used condoms during dry spells when I wasn't only having random sex sporadically. With long term partners I use the pill. I have some issues with it though so I'd like to try one of the shots.

I got an iud over a year and a half ago. Haven't used a condom with my regular partner since, and still child-free. I love it; low maintainance, I can't forget to take it, it doesn't mess with my hormones, it doesn't affect intercourse, lasts 5 years so I never have to refill it or go in every few months and pay.
Worst part was the first month, since I haven't had a baby it was painful to put in since they have to enter my cervix.
