How many of you have depression and take antidepressants (or don't) and find it difficult to get into the mood sometimes, or a lot? I've been on antidepressants for quite a long time considering I'm 20, and I feel like it's really messed with my libido.

Depending on the type of medication you're on, it's a noted side-effect. If it's extremely interfering with things, you can talk to your doctor and they might be able to try you on something else.
I had sex-drive decrease with a birth control I was on before (also a noted side-effect), but haven't noticed any change with anti-depressants, however, they're also not anti-depressing me, either.

That is a VERY common side effect for antidepressant meds. When I was on them, I sometimes had trouble orgasming, but not the libido part. Everyone is different. I'm off of medication now, and for the most part doing well. I'd be happy to tell you about what has helped me if you want to send me a PM.

I've had depression on and off my entire life (even as a child). It often makes me "asexual" for months at a time.

I have Bipolar. I have changed medications multiple times because of sexual side effects. There have been many that made me not want sex at all.
