Sexual harassment in the workplace

I didn't do anything about it. I wasn't about to go through all of the hell of "you're a tremendous flirt, because you have the gall to smile and be nice to people" just to bring it to everyone's attention. I was young, I was easily intimidated by higher-ups at the time and my paycheck was far more important to me than my sense of security and self-worth.

I didn't do anything because it was obvious that I was hired at that place because they liked my body. I didn't have a great resume or anything and they were always making comments to me. I didn't last long though.

I told my boss, and my husband. My boss wrote up my co-worker, and my husband scared the shit out of him . That pretty much put an end to it.

Unless you call weird old men calling me "honey" and "sweetheart" harassment. I'm a server in a restaurant... Told DH it bothered me, and he said don't worry, it's an older generation thing. Apparently they think it's OK to call waitstaff names. I just try to grin and bear it. Thankfully it doesn't happen to often.

I have dealt with this I was 19 an I worked in a grocery store, I let it go on for a bit but when the guy got to grabbing and touching me when customers were around I had to report it. I couldn't have that held against me because it was unwanted an I didn't need to loose my job over a customer making a complaint. I don't really know what happen with the whole thing I know an investigation was done and the guy was either suspended or fired because after I was pulled into the office with people from corporate I never seen the guy again.

We always joke that my store wouldn't run without a healthy dose of sexual harassment lol but really its all just harmeless flirting throughout the staff, nothing that I'd really call "harassment"
