It's not yet available for purchase here on EF, but I recommend a shaving mirror. I plan to get this just because I shave in the shower and it is MUCH easier to use a mirror to shave. I always have to stand all funky (i do have a little belly that gets in the way at times, damn baby fat! )

I'd recommend shaving in the bathtub. You might have to sit in some awkward positions, but it seems to be the easiest way to shave. I also like to stand in the shower and prop my leg up against the side of the tub to shave my legs too.

When I was so pregnant I could not see my feet I awkward positioned myself in the tub. It was annoying and sometimes I would think I would not get back up but it was the best way to see what i was doing.

I have similar problems, bad back and plus sized. I've pretty much learned to shave by braille LOL I put one foot on the edge of the tub and CAREFULLY! start shaving. I also use shaving cream and a Venus razor, they are super sharp, but something about the way the blade cartridge is shaped helps guide it with out cutting something important. The only problem is right at the top of the slit, the wide blade makes that hard to get to.

I do use Nair or Veet sometimes but I am sensitive to the stuff and it can burn me. so yeah, rarely use it.

I find that this is extremely helpful, since I have a stall shower.

I use this style of razor bkini by persona you don't even need to use water or soap with them and they leave you with super, baby bottom smooth skin as the aloe strips moisturise and Ive found prevent shaving rash as well as ingrown hairs. Plus they are pretty damn cheap.

They also don't cut so you can safely shave without being able to see what you are doing. I personally sit on the toilet to shave with them as that way I don't have to clean up the messy hair and I find it easier to reach everywhere doing it that way.

Im really impressed with them and just do a touch up every few days.

Ive also used my bf's electric razor thats got three circular heads on it. It shaves smooth without cutting the skin.

hope this helps

Do you have a partner who can help you?

I realize it isn't the most beautiful thing to keep around, but maybe if you used a shower chair? I have to sit down to reach everywhere and I don't have a bad back.

Personally I have switched to using an epilator on my legs and arms, it does hurt but its the only thing I have found that actually lasts more than a day or two and because it doesn't damage skin I can go back the next day if I missed a spot. I had to work on it in longish evening sessions over about three days for the initial removal but now I just need a couple hours every other week or so.

I either do it in the tub, or get a bowl of water and find a chair or couch. I have tried using a mirror while shaving, and tore myself up LOL So now I use the mirror for spot checking AFTER the majority is done

The bathtub, yeah its weird positions but you can find the one that suits you best to get the job done, whether it be sitting on the side or sitting in the tub, and many more ways.

I started shaving before I had my son. I was smaller - but still had big boobs, but was able to see it all down there. Since then, and a few years later, I know myself, and no longer need to look. I am able to feel where I am going, and feel what is needed. I have not cut myself when doing it "blind" as people would call it. It takes time and practice. You can get a mirror that is waterproof/fogproof and sticks to the side of the wall in the shower so that you can see. Or one of those personal shavers - I have seen some sites/stores that carry them. One brand that sticks out is Jenna Jameson. Shes branded one. I dont think eden carries it, after a quick search, I don't see it. Look at some sex shops, they usually carry them.

Good luck

Get professionally waxed - not worth the risk of hurting yourself

If I didn't use the Emjoi, I'd be wondering the same. Wouldn't like the idea of a blade shaver down there and not be able to see.

I use a venus razor as well, the divine one. I find it goes over curves well and doesn't nick or cut. But yeah that nair stuff is tricky, not something I'd repeat.

I take a bowl and fill with water and stand at my kitchen sink and shave. I put my leg up on the counter beside the sink. I have an island so that makes it easier for shaving that special area I've always shaved at an angle since I started shaving when I was 2.
