Doesn't happen every time, but if we've had a particularly rough or long session, or haven't had sex in awhile my inner lips will swell up. I have a lot of natural lubrication usually, so I don't think friction could be a problem. and it usually goes down in a day or two.

Mine do the same thing. I read an article a while back (can't remember where) but it said that women have just as much erectile tissue as men do, it is just arranged differently. I thought it made a lot of sense because, after a lot of stimulation down there, (not always rough either) I would become swollen, but not sore.

I think it's normal. Labia will usually always swell when a female is "aroused." It can get pretty big too. It should go down within 24 hours, but if it's accompanied by other symptoms i.e. itching, burning, etc. I'd say you should see your dr. The entire area will usually swell pretty noticable so it's probably normal.
