I.. don't think I've ever left ANYTHING in my vagina. Really, I don't put many things in there that aren't sex toys I'm actively using, or SmartBalls that are pretty noticeable (if not while you're walking around, then at least whenever you need to use the washroom) .. Wouldn't a tampon start to smell absolutely horrific after even just a few days, let alone weeks? I don't think it's possible that I could overlook that, haha.

Lezergirl you are extremely lucky you didn't get TSS and get excruciatingly ill. Two weeks? I don't even know how you can do that; I'd be way more concerned about forgetting something with no string.

No, I change my tampons frequently since I'm afraid of TSS. I calculate what time I need to change it and then I keep checking the clock. I guess it's always in the back of my mind.

I was once so tired I forgot to take one tampon out before putting the next one in, but I noticed within a few hours that things were REALLY uncomfortable. Ugh.

OMG 2weeks, I mean don't you stick your fingers in there often? I make sure to check that I am even done with my period with my fingers, which also eliminates the possibility of leaving one inside of me.
I left a tampon in for maybe 8.5 hrs instead of the 8.

Are there trolls on Eden? How do you 'forget' that you have something in your Vagina? I could believe forgetting a tampon or something else for over 8 hours (especially if you a- cant feel it, b-fall asleep and forget upon waking up) but 2 weeks is hard to believe, especially since I would like to assume you use the bathroom and shower!

Personally, nothing. My body does not like tampons so the only thing that ever goes in and stays in (not something thrusting) is a kegel exerciser and I think it would be impossible for me to forget that, even my Emigi that I removed the cord from. You're VERY lucky not to have contracted TSS or another infection!

I actually had a friend who told me that she had a tampon in and totally forgot about it when she went to have sex with her then boyfriend (now fiance). Anyway, the tampon got pushed up, and since she was on the pill, she let him come in her. Long story short, she finally noticed a smell and figured out what it was. She pulled it out and made an appointment with her doctor to make sure she was okay. She gave her some anti-biotics because my friend told me what came out was really gross and icky looking.
Anyway, I myself have never left anything inside my lady garden. And I hope I never do.

I know someone who left a tampon inside of her for a really long time, too (somewhere between two weeks and a month, I can't remember). She only found out what it was when it started smelling really bad and she had her gyno look to see if she was sick.
I've never forgotten anything inside me. I doubt I could forget a tampon because those were always really uncomfortable. If I were to forget something, it would probably be my Diva Cup, since I can't feel it at all. It likely wouldn't stay forgotten for long, given how often I touch around down there.
