Three periods in a month's time?

Contributor: doowop doowop
Okay, I posted about this not too long ago, but now I got my period again.

First one was on the 3rd. Second was on the 19th. Now another just started a few minutes ago. So not three in exactly 31 days, but close enough.

I have an appointment with my Gynecologist on the 21st. Any idea what's going on with me? There's no way in heck that I could be pregnant. I don't have PCOS either (at least, I didn't last time we checked). I haven't gotten an STD screening since I found out my ex was cheating on me. I planned to do that at my next appointment. Could it be something major? Like PID or something?

Have you been spotting in between, or is it three different periods?

Three different periods. The first was normal. The second one was very heavy and I was tempted to go to the ER. This one is kinda light.

No idea whatsoever, one was bad enough when I used to get them. A definite see the dr for this one. Actually when I was on the pill, I would not get it at all. If this is something new for you than the dr is a must do, something I glad you already have scheduled.

I know that you said that you can't be pregnant...but are you sure it was not a miscarriage? Even if it has been a few months since you had sex you might not have know you were pregnant.

My mother and my aunt bleed like that some months. Then other times they will go months between getting one at all. For them, it's age and started around 40. Both their doctors said it was because they were getting close to menopause. Apparently some women are stuck there for ten years or more. This could be whats happening. Don't freak out too hard until you know what's happening
