It is definitely comfortable, though I have nothing to compare it to other than Instead cups, which are quite different.

I've done tampons, pads, and the disposable softcups. Right now I mostly use pads, and pantyliners on the light/spotting days. Very strongly considering a silicone menstrual cup. I've heard too many good things about them to not give it a try.

My birth control has prevented me from having a period for the past 4 years. It's pretty awesome. I've discussed it with several ob/gyns to be sure it's not a problem (it's not -- no medical need for a period) because it's just a side effect of the pill I happen to be on.

All this talk of menstrual cups is making me really curious about them! For right now I just use tampons. I HATE pads.

I use to use tampons, but I'm over them. I now use pads and panty liners towards the end.

Menstrual cup with a panty liner. SO much more comfortable to wear. It rarely leaks, doesn't get that full/slimy/slipping feeling like tampons do on heavy days, and isn't hot and sweaty like pads in summer.

I have a Moon Cup and I don't think I'll ever go back to conventional products. It's super easy to clean, I can leave it in a lot longer than a tampon and I don't risk leaking like I did with pads/tampons. I'm all about being eco-friendly and I found tampons and pads to be too wasteful so that's what first got me looking into menstrual cups. I recommend them to all my lady friends.

I use a divacup and would never go back to tampons unless absolutely desperate.
