Just read a really interesting discussion about make-up and I realized how much I have changed in the years. Before I would never let a guy see me without my face on and I would freak out if they ever did. With my current BF I can be without makeup and he won't say a thing, he's comfortable with me however I look.

When I do wear makeup about once a week I think I do it for both of us. For me so I can have a day that I look nice and feel pretty. And for him so that he too can see me looking a bit better than the norm.

I wear makeup all the time.
Usually I only wear eyeliner, that's all I need to feel happy.

If I'm trying to feel fancy, I wear concealer.

I usually wear it for me because it makes me feel good about myself. If it's a special occasion though I might wear it because I want to look nice for my boyfriend.

Same here. I am generally covering up flaws that only I would notice anyway. It gives me more confidence. But sometimes I do it to look nice for my SO.

I only wear make up on holidays like halloween, or if I have to go to some nice event where I have to get all dressed up. Even then my hubby isn't happy about it. He hates make up on women, he says that natural beauty is best.

I usually wear little to no makeup. At most for everyday wear I have concealer, mascara, and a tiiiiiiiny bit of eyeshadow. When my guy visits I lean much more towards wearing makeup. He likes that I'm taking the time to look prettier.

My make up is very minimal. My goal is to not look made up. I wear a touch of blush, eyeliner and mascara and usually chap-stick.

I wear it because it makes me freshened up and gives me a bit of a bounce in my step. When I feel good about how I look, I tend to smile more and be more attentive toward my husband. I like that.

He would prefer me with no make up at all though.

Hubby prefers no make up usually.
But then when I do put it on, he says it's almost like being with a different person. Not going to lie, but there is something to be said about feeling extra good and the attention THAT brings about!

Not sure if this is the same, but I'm gonna chime in here, anyway. I'm a gay man, who regularly wears blue nail polish. Its one of the few things that I with my appearance, that I do just for me. It makes me feel fabulous and eccentric, and well, gay! Shaving my face, styling my hair, hell, even showering regularly, I do for everyone else. But my nails are about me!
