Thinking about birth control.

Wondering what all of your experiences were, regarding them, and if you had a favorite type, method of receiving it, etc?

I only have personal experience with condoms and the anti-baby-pill.

Condoms have the advantage that they prevent STD as well. That means for spontaneous sex they are a must!
Especially if female students from certain countrys want to have sex with a male. When I started my studies the first my roommates told me: Never date a girl from [...] because they tell you that they have latex allergy but are using the anti-baby-pill. But they don't! They want an engineer to be the father of their children and you will have to pay alliments.

The Pill has the advantage that it makes a LongTermRelationship more spontaneous but has unclear side effects (e.g. migraine). In the country I live it's quite common to start using the anti-baby-pill as soon as a girl becomes 14 or 16.
