I usually let him initiate, although I want it more often. He knows that I will most likely be in the mood when he does, so it's just easier to let him do it when he is in the mood to have sex.

We're just the opposite. She knows I'm ready anytime - but I don't wait for her to say go - so I get more than a few rejection.

typically, i let my master initiate though sometimes i will bring him my collar or gag and ask nicely for him to please me... i typically get what i want that way
