I have to pin a marshmallow with my nose, I get deprived of anything pleasurable. Stand in the corner for x amount of time. Do remember what works to correct MY behaviour won't work on the next s-type.

I do not punish a slave with something they enjoy - this basically means sex or play related. I'm not going to pound into them with my fists or penis to make them curb poor behavior - they'll keep doing it because they'll think that if they do it, they'll get pleasure.
There are many forms of punishment that are effective, however, I generally go for corporal punishment. Special paddle, given amount of thwacks, no aftercare and no being taken care of for it. They get it, they get up and make me tea for the irritation of having to punish them to begin with.
If punishment must be administered often, then the relationship should come to an end. Punishment should be used sparingly and only in isolated instances. If the person does not take verbal reprimands or directions well, then they are not compatible with you.

My Master usually uses orgasm denial when we're apart. When I'm with him, he uses canings and he says that watersports are going to be part of punishments the next time I stay with him too. For the most part he doesn't use punishment to change my behavior, because he doesn't like hurting me too much and I still have triggers from a previous abusive relationship that he has to be careful of. He mostly just gives me a stern talking to while spanking me or caning me to make sure the lesson sticks. We're more about funishment than punishment.

I go for contact denial. If she is being punished, she may not look at me and I will not look at or touch her - in some cases talking is forbidden. This will last for a specified amount of time depending on the offense. At the end, she must apologize for the behavior before touching can happen again.

I punish my subs with no form of play but my one sub had to go to her punishment closet while the rest of us play out side , while another gets hand cuff to the chair while the rest of are house is playing with rope . An that's her favorite form of play especially suspension.
