I like to mix things up a bit as well, do you think this would fly with a "friend with benefits" who knows, somewhat, how freaky I get, or do you think this would be too over the top for someone that doesn't know, exactly, how freaky I am?

YOu never know until you are in a situation to get down w/ your BADDD self... I say go for it, and don't worry if they freak out, unless of course they are the town gossip and you don't want everyone knowing. I'd say "get your freak on girl!!"
