I've heard all sorts of mixed reviews about it. I might read it if one of my friends recommended it/let me borrow it, but I'd never go out and buy it myself.

I liked it, I love it and it has set me off with playing with toys and trying new things I needed that at this point and time of my life. And honestly I had looked at it at the book store before it became such a hit

I enjoyed the books. And I totally agree with you. The books opened my eyes to a world I knew little to nothing about. And my husband LOVES that I have read them because now I am more open to trying new things.

He had a girlfriend at one point that was a complete submissive so he knows all about this world. He is excited that I have given him permission to try new things with me. Without reading the books I would have never been open to it. I initially picked them up because one of my friends was reading them and suggest I read them as well. I was shocked to find out just how many of my friends were reading it once I started talking about it.

I just had a meeting at work with five other women - three of them have read the whole series this summer *lol* They loved it, but I would say that none of them were familiar with the kink world before reading, and I would also say that their requirements for good reading is probably not the same as mine. I am afraid I would be disappointed in it, as many of the reviewers here have been.

I have absolutely NO intention on reading any of the books. From what I've heard of them, they sound like they would irritate me greatly and I'd end up throwing them against a wall (well, before burning them ).
