I first saw it in high school (yes, i've just dated myself) and loved it! Looking back at it now, I get that it was filled with D/s and control themes that I didn't yet realize were what really got me going. Of course, it portrays these things in kind of a negative light, but it's still one of the hottest movies I've ever seen.

See it immediately!

I think all of the mint gums taste like spearmint. Which is icky. I suppose the mint flavored lubricant would work too though.

No, they do. But if you are worried about using a mint... the lubricant is an alternative.
I'll think about it. I might suck it up and give it a go, I'd just hate to buy a lube, then hate it and have no real need for it after one use, lol

I've found winterfresh gums, they're just a bit trickier to find, lol

I want to! I haven't gotten around to it quite yet, but I have a feeling that it'd be hot to watch. I heard about it when I was about 13 and everyone was talking about how it was a hot movie with some D/s themes. I tried to find it online, but I couldn't. I did end up watching "Kinsey" around that time though.

Are you still here Kristina? I am very interested in finding book selections with your stories in them.

Oh, what a nice story! It also goes to show that a book doesn't need to be labeled "self-help" to be helpful!

I think music can definitely enhance a sexual situation as well. I know I love Marilyn Manson and Nine Inch Nails for that.

I never quite pictured Marilyn Manson or NIN as adding to a sexual experience to be honest.

Music with guys with raspy but smooth voices put me in the mood. I love, love, love John Mayer.

Giving pleasure can sometimes be as arousing as receiving pleasure, don't you think? I see that idea reinforced in a lot of my own fiction (and, obviously, my real life!).

I think it's the idea that you're getting pleasure from your partner's pleasure. And I've definitely noticed that happening in my own life.

I almost always start out every session he's going down on me giggling. I don't mean to, but the whole thing tickles until he gets me warmed up. I've told him, and he thinks it's adorable and sometimes tries to make me laugh really hard, lol

I have. It's especially good if you listen with the headphones because you can hear a lot of the whispering that's hard to hear in the actual track with speakers. It's a great sound.

And I suppose I prefer both of the two because most of my sexual experiences tend to be more BDSM-focused than romance-y. Jor and I tried the soft, sensual music once. We started giggling so bad it was just all over.

Same thing happens with me. Sometimes he gets insecure though when I'm giggling. It's not like I mean to! Sometimes I'll get really sensitive sometimes too, to where if he even just touches my thigh I'll burst out laughing and have to push his hand away. I feel bad sometimes.

I've finally made it up early enough to participate in the book club this week!

About tickling, I seriously think I was born without the tickle gene, I just don't get ticklish these days anywhere on my body! It's a sad state of affairs.

I always feel bad about it, but he keeps reassuring me. He used to feel a little self conscious about it but after a year and a half, he's figured out that I'm just really ticklish, lol.

I've got the same thing with my thighs sometimes.

I hardly get ticklish either, unless it's in a tender area, or if I'm aroused. Lol! Weird, I know. My partner, on the other hand, is so damn ticklish! I can tickle him by touching him with a single finger. He laughs so hard he can't breath. He doesn't like getting tickled though, because it makes him tense.

Welcome to the discussion!

I am sorta ticklish. It honestly depends on my mood. If I'm in the bad mood, my body doesn't respond, but if I'm cheery, I can be ticklish on my feet. I find tickling to be more painful than pleasurable though.
